Minimum Bend Radius for a pigging 10" dia. pipeline was created by dtplim
need some help here... what is the minimum Pipe Bend Radius for a pigging pipeline, sch40, 10" dia.? 2D, 3D? Where can i get the info from? Different pig has different min. bend radius? Please help. Thanks.

You must talk to a "Pig" sales Rep.
Different types of pigs require different radius bends.
That kind of pigging are you going to be doing?

*10D* on risers for typical utility PIGS is the standard for pipeline operations but I have also seen task specific PIGS that can articulate around a 90.

thank you guys... the pipeline is for palm oil product e.g. RBD olien, Crude palm oil, may be sterlin. we are putting up a so call "pipe interchange" for our client between all the refineries and the liquid jetty. All liquid cargo must connect through the "pipe interchange" before getting in / out from the liquid jetty.
