How to know everything about Piping Design in 4 easy steps!!

1) Spend 4 years taking an Engineering Apprenticeship.

2) Spend the next 5-10 years in a Design Office learning the basics of Piping Design.

3) Spend the following 10-20 years actively engaged on various Projects (onshore, offshore, Nuclear, Pharmaceuticals)

Or as an alternative these days.

1) spend a couple of years at college

2) learn Autocad

3) call yourself a Piping Designer / Engineer

4) Ask crazy questions on Engineering Forums!!!!!

There are loads more links like these to be found on this site, and many other sites on the web, Google is your friend!

It should be stated that this forum and forums like it can be useful and powerful tools when used correctly.

Most times you will receive correct and helpful answer on your questions by experienced colleagues / peers.

These colleagues / peers invest time and effort in your question, free of charge. They do not use any hours of your project.

This means that the questioner has the obligation to do a little homework before asking questions.

Please try to do a little research before posting vague sweeping questions like these.
- If you're the smartest person in the room ... you're in the wrong room.
