It'll take more than 10 years of working experienced to know everything about Piping Design - I mean everything.

Code changes and so do ways of fabricating, erecting, testing, maintaining and operating a piping system that fall within the scope of B31. Several decades ago the Intergraph and Bentleys so does CII and Algor dont even exist. A decade ago theres no SAP, no FFS, no RBI and the PSM was at its infancy. As long as they kept revising the Code that pertains to Piping design, fabrication, installation and maintenance - then the piping designer will have to keep re-learning to maintain his competency.

Been doing Code related work for over 30 years and im still learning.
