Valve Switching Area Piping Arrangement

Dear All,

This is first time i working with Molecular Sieve Adsorbar (3 vessels, but one working other two are standby) (Co2 removal),
the inlet and outlet valves area are called Switching valves. Please advise what are the things need to be consider, how the pipng arrangement will be?

1. If possible have the Process Engineer go through the P&ID with you and describe the process.
2. Follow the P&ID to the letter.

This is no big deal, hopefully the inlet and outlet are on the same end so the suction and disch. piping can be in the same pipe rack. AND that’s my question to you, IS the piping to this equipment on a high rack or low? That would be a controlling factor for any piping to these units. Remember to keep "enough" maintenance room between these units! AND use flanges with blinds on ends of the main headers so "IF" any time in the future the engineers want to add more units it won't be a big deal to tie-in to the main headers. ...My $0.02, Good luck!
