Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone can differentiate these equations, for underground pressure on a cylinder.
-2/π ʃₒⁿ cosβ ʃₒᵝ q sin(β-α)dα dβ.........equation-1
rR -1/π ʃₒⁿ ʃₒᵝ qrsin(β-α)dα dβ............equation-2
q and r are constants so the only thing needing differentiating is ʃₒᵝ sin(β-α)dα dβ
I get this
sin(β-α) = sin(β) x cos(α) - cos(β) x sin(α)
ʃ f(β-α)dx = -sin(β) x sin(α) - cos(β) x cos(α)
Is it right ....that is the question....?

cos(β-α)
Someone on the maths forum solved it for me.
