How to calculate the required power for a sluice gate valve? was created by mah_basha
Good day every body...
Simple questions, I have some sluice gate valves in sewage water treatment plant, How I calculate the required motor power for each?
sizes are, 1000x1000 mm, 900x900 mm, 1250x1250 mm, all have 40 mm dia spindle SS shaft. level of water above them is about 4 metres maximum.

Do it once and Do it Right
Replied by Jop on topic sluice gate valve
Go look at the valve and copy all of the name plate data. then contact the valve manufacturer for their recommendation.
