Is there any problem if SS304 disc & SS316 seat is offered by vendor for metal seated butterfly valve against requirement of both SS304?

If you are talking about galvanic corrossion, no there will not be..
as 304/316 falls under same galavanic potential

Thanks for the info. But I have a question regarding ss304.

When assembling the fabricated SS316 parts usually SS316 bolts are used. Why can't SS304 bolts be used?

I think they use different materials to prevent galling.

it should be SA193 GrB8 and SA194 Gr8, neither 316 nor 304
