I came across this question on another forum. I don't know the answer. Does anyone else?

Series Flanges
I have some old drawings and the flanges are listed in the BOM like this:
Series 40 blind flange
Series 30 blind flange
Series 60 blind flange
They are on a compresser connections drawn in 1955.
Does anyone know what these ratings are?

Anton,
I found a mechanical joint-type flange from Clow Canada that is a series 40, but it's probably not the same as a flange connected to a compressor..... doesn't James know what these are? Go to www.clowcanada.com/english/flange_series40.html for a peek at what I'm referring to.....
Regards,
Bob
