This is not very specific and it would be hard for anyone to help you at this point.

What kind of piping engineer do you want to be?
There is:
    - Pipeline Piping Engineering
    - Process Plant Piping Engineering
    - Fossil Fuel Power Plant Piping Engineering
    - Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology Piping Engineering

With-in these broad groups there are areas of specialties;
- Piping Material Engineering
- Piping Design Engineering
- Pipe Stress Engineering
- Piping Field Engineering
- Piping Fabrication Engineering Management

You might think that you want to be all of these. Well you need to remember that a baby starts very small and in a very helpless state. After a period of time it learns to crawl. Then later it learns to walk and only falls down a few times each day. As time goes by the child advances to running a little. Much later as a grown-up he or she might enter their first marathon. This individual does not always win that first marathon and may never win one but just maybe will have to settle for just being a very good runner.

I wish you very good luck in you career.
As a start you might want to read everything you find on this web-site. That includes all the articles in "Training", "Tips", "Tools", "Standards", "Forum".
After that please ask some specific questions about what you want to know.
