Hi, actual spacing required is just 25 mm clear between extreme edges of both pipes i.e. either flange OD, insulation OD etc. So 300 mm clear between the two pipe is extremely high . You can use an android app available 'Max ANSI Pipe spacing calculator' also. Optimize it considering all the engg, fab, maintenance aspects & think of the high cost of width of sleepers required over a length of several Kms. regards-Sudhir Bhise, Stratagem Solutions

SO do I have this correct, your run a -15C commodity without insulation!?? ...Either or, I would advise not to run these pipelines at normal refinery spacings! Piping systems that are unnecessarily tight only complicates both construction and operational maintenance. I'd suggest taking sudhir.bhise 25mm and tripling that ...what would you loose with extra 6" wider pipe supports? My $0.02 anyway, Good Luck!
